The social networks allows us to communicate our ideas and feelings through writing and videos that people can share with all the world or only with some people. We need to be careful with the things that we share because maybe if we upload a image or something that affected other people we could feel bad.

Other thing that we can do in the social networks are:

• Purchase online 
• Meet people who live in other countries 
• We can ask for recommendations about books, movies, etc.
• People who buy online can have more time instead of browse and is easier for them to find goods with an affordable price.

Keep in your mind that there are good things and bad things that the social networks can offered to us

One advise that I can give you is that you need to be respectful with all people and if you do something wrong assume your consequences.

How toprepare a lemon pie

HOW TO PREPARE A LEMON PIE?

I like to prepare different kind of desserts, I think that this activity is one of my favorite hobbies because the things that you can prepare are so sweat and delicious. The best dessert is the lemonade pay that’s way I’m going to describe you how to prepare a lemon pie.

 
Ingredients:
·         2 packs of cookies (Marias)
·         1 carnation
·         1 milk jug (Lechera)
·         The juice of 5 lemons
·         1 spoonful of natural gelatin
·         Jam and caramel

Procedure:

First you need to put the spoonful of natural gelatin in a glass with water, then you have to mix the milk jug, the carnation, the juice of 5 lemons and the hydrated natural gelatin.

After that, you need to put one layer of cookies in a mold, then you add the mix, you repeat these actions until you finish all the mix.

Afterwards, you put the mold inside the freezer for two or three hours.

When is time to remove the mold one thing that you could do is put inside another mold with mild water for 5 or 7 seconds and next you turn over the mold to take out the pay.

And finally you can eat the pay J

Enjoy it!!!

This delicious dessert is for all the family, friends and other people that want to eat it.

SNOW PATROL

SNOW PATROL



Snow Patrol it’s an original band of alternative rock from Scotland, they launched as a band at the University of Dundee in 1994. This band is so amazing although few people know them.

Something interesting about this band is their first name “POLAR BEAR” but they changed it because they could have conflicts with another American band that has the exact name.

In 1998 the band emerge in UK with its first album “Song for polarbears” and with their second album in 2001 get more hard-core fans.

The band is compose of:

Gary Lightbody (vocals, guitar)

Nathan Connolly (guitar, backing vocals)

Johnny McDaid (piano, guitar and Bv) 

Jonny Quinn (drums)

Paul Wilson (bass guitar, Bv)

I like a lot of this band because they represent the thing that some people don't know but if they know it, it's possible that they like them. They aren't a mainstream band like others that some of us know.

We all know about Brazil it is most famous city “Rio de Janeiro”, in this place we can find different attractions for all people, some of these are:

Christo and the city

The Carnival

Garganta do Diabo

Pao de Acucar 

Brazil is one of the most fabulous cities that we can visit. Its weather is sunny and clear most of the time but in some seasons its weather is windy.

The carnival start 40 days before Passover, this carnival is one of the most famous around the world, different people of different countries like this carnival; in the carnival we can find a lot of music, but mainly samba, we can see a lot of floats in the parade and a lot of people dancing.

Rio de Janeiro is city that becomes magic when we visit, because is a different world for us, that celebrations and traditions that they have are different of us.

If you want to pass a time to enjoy the environment and relax, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) is the best option for people that are stressed or bored.     

This is one of my favorite song of the movie RIO :) I hope you like it.

International Program

Travel to different countries is my dream since I was child because I’m interested in learning more about Germany, France, Australia, etc. I think that all the courses that I've taken and my experiences have prepared me for these kinds of programs and new experiences in different ways.

To be candidate, a person need to have three important things:

1.- Be student in Tec. De Monterrey

2.- Take four semester onwards

3.- Speak  English

I think, I’m a good candidate for this program, but I can take it in three semesters.

I know different things about my country and others, and is so easy to me explain these things in English or Spanish, if someone ask me about Mexico,  I would say that is a beautiful place in which the climates are so variables. Be part of this program can help me in international experiences.

I want to be accoutered and this program let me study in the best schools for accounting, some places that recommend me are Germany and Australia so I’ve started to investigate about these countries and their traditions. I have never traveled outside Mexico, but now I think that is important to know about the world.

I want to start my travel with a program that let me be part of a country and help me to increase my English vocabulary and ITESM-CEM programs are the best option for me.

I hope that you will consider my application.

In this session I’m going to talk about past tenses and how can we use them.

Simple Past
Past Perfect
Past Perfect Continuous
Present Perfect
Past Continuous
Used to
Present Perfect Continuous

Simple Past

We use the simple past for talk about actions or situations that we made in the past or that are finished.

We can’t use present perfect when we said the time or place of the event.

Examples:

The ship exploded yesterday at 11:00pm

I went to the festival.

When Andrea bit the cake, I applauded.

Past Perfect

We used past perfect to describe something that happened before a specific time in the past.

We can used past perfect with the simple past tense to show which of two events occurred first.

Also we can use it for justifications

Examples:

By April, Luis had started his new job.

Rosa had already seen the movie when it came out on DVD.

I’d started a new project so I could finish my career.

Past Perfect Continuous

Is the past of the past but we use it for emphasis the duration of the action in the past.

We used it to show that something cause and effect.

Example:

I had been waiting for you for more than 15 minutes.                     

They had been talking for over two hours before Alex arrived.

Tamara is so tired because she had been working all the night.

Present Perfect

We use it when an action is completed at an unspecific time in the past.

We can use it to describe actions that began in the past, continue into the present, and may continue into the future.

For unfinished actions, we can emphasis the things that happened in the past.

For life experiences and achievements.

Example:

I’ve already heard that CD.

She’s seen him twice.

Have you listened to any pop lately?

Used to

We use for past habits.

Example:

I used to drink milk in the morning.

Raul used to talk with Sara.

Ricardo used to watch Pokémon.

Past Continuous

We used it for a continuous action in the past but that other action interrupted.

We can used in the stories for describe the atmosphere.

We used for two actions that happened in the past at the same time.

For repeated actions in the past, we usually use always.

Example:

The sun was shining, the dogs were barking and the children were playing.

I was cutting vegetables when Norma talked me.

While my sister was watching TV, my parents were talking.

We can’t use this tense or any continuous tense with stative verbs

Present Perfect Continuous

We used to describe actions that began in the past, continue in the present, and may continue into the future.

For action that recently stopped or is still going on.

For action that influence in the present but you finished in the past.

Present Perfect Continuous emphasis the duration of the actions.

Example:

My dad has been working for two years.

I have been living here since 1995.

WHO AM I?

Hello!

My name is Karla Lorelay Angeles Blancas; I’m 18 years old and nowadays I'm studying in “Tec. De Monterrey”; something important is that I prefer people call me Karly. My parent's names are Prisciliano Angel Angeles and Sonia Blancas Martinez; I’ve two sisters their names are Tamara Ashley and Amaya Azura.

Some things that I like are sports, animals, and anime, my favorite sport is swimming, in animals if I need to choose, my selection are dogs in case of pets and penguins in case of wild animals. In the case of anime is different, because there are a lot of animes and mangas that I like, some examples are: Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, Digimon, Sakura Card Captor and Sailor moon.

Some things that I dislike a lot of are people that bother others and people who pretend to be what they are not.

A funny story past when I was 8 years old; was June 2^nd and my friends were in my house, it was my birthday and I was playing when my teacher came, that was so strange, because I hadn’t invited him. When the games started my teacher played with us and he took our shoes out and acted like a little child, when all my friends saw that they laugh a lot of and for the next day week all of us acted different with the teacher.

Well this is a little part of my life and it’s a small description about me.
